University of Portharcourt
(UNIPORT) River State,have completed
preparations for her 2012/2013 edition
screening exercise for
admission into the Full-Time five
years Bachelor of Technology (B.
Tech.) Degree Programme offered in the
School of Science Laboratory
Technology(SSLT), with
specialization in any of the
following options;
i. Biochemistry and Chemistry
Technology
ii. Biomedicals Technology
iii.Geology and Mining
Technologys
iv. Industrial Chemistry and
Petrochemical Technology
v. Microbiology Tech
vi. Physics with Electronics
Tech
vii. Physics with Production
Tech
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must possess the
following;
i. Five credits in English
Language, Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry and Biology in not
more than 2 sittings in o'level exams and NABTEB
ii. UTME Jamb: All candidates who wish
to apply for admission
must have taken part in the 2012
UTME with a minimum
scores of 180.
iii. UTME SUBJECTS are,
(a) candidates who want to apply for Biomedical Technology,
Biochemistry/Chemistry
Technology and Microbiology
Technology options must have the following combination in jamb, English
Language, Biology Chemistry
and Physics or Mathematics.
(b) candidates applying for the following Geology/Mining Technology,
Industrial Chemistry/
Petrochemical Technology,
Physics with Electronics
Technology and Physics with
Production Technology must have the following options:
English Language, Mathematics,
Chemistry and Physics.
SCREENING SCHEDULE
The date for the screening
test is Tuesday, 17th July,
2012. Time is 7.00am prompt PROCEDURE
•Candidates are to visit
the Registration Portal: http://
sslt.uniport.edu.ng
Candidates are to complete the
Application Form for the SSLT
screening exermination for
2012/2013.
INFORMATIONS
1. Candidates' names on their
O'level results and JAMB
results must be thesame with what
is input on the Post UTME Form.
2. Mobile phones, walkman,
ipod, ipad and other gadgets arent allowed.
3. Candidates must apply within
the Registration duration as the
link for the Application Form will
be disabled by mid-night on
Monday, 9th July, 2012.
4. Candidates must report to
Screening Venues before 7.00am.
5. Parents and Guardians as well
as uninvited security agents will
not be allowed into the school premises
on the days of the screening
exercise.
