Deputy
speaker of the nigerian house of
representative has insisted
that the House is a democratic
house, and would first listen to
the pleas of the students and
that of the Alumni's in the
lingering case of renaming the formal
University Of Lagos to Maulag,he also said,the house we take
the General public opinion on the matter. At a meeting
held at the University premises,mentioned that the
Popular votes, would win the
house final decision.
Having said these, the Odds are in
the University's student and Alumni favour to win
the case which has lingered on
since the Independence day
