As candidates are lookiing
forward to the release of 2012/2013
University of Ibadan Admission
list, analysis of statistics reveals
that only 34.4% of the total
candidates shortlisted and who
wrote the U.I Post UTME
screening test scored above average.
According to the release, Only
2,506 candidates meaning 34.4% passed
the post utme screening test,
Out of the 7,287 candidates who
wrote the University of Ibadan
(UI) for the 2012 post-UTME.
There were 163 absentees in the exama.
A release signed by the
University's Director of Public
Communications in person of Mr. Olatunji
Oladejo disclosed that some
candidates who chose Political
Science, Guidance and
Counseling, Linguistics and
African Languages among a host
of other courses scored as low as 10
per cent.
The report also disclosed that
the following three candidates
performed exceedingly well in
the screening exercise They are;
Adedoyin Ibukunoluwa MB BS,
Shuaibu Gideon Enebojo MB BS
and
Adepoju Adekunle Electrical/
Electronics Engineering who
scored 88 per cent, being the
highest mark.
"They were followed closely by
Fashola Oreoluwa MB BS,
Omozojie Samson MB BS and
Adetayo Michael Babatunde
Law with 87 per cent while
Dagie Blessing Ebahi
Communication and Language
Arts,
Adaja Aba Emmanuel MB BS,
Efebame Edeki MB BS and
Jayeola Idris Olayiwola
Pharmacy scored 86 per cent".
